A Life Rich with Service and Commitment
Born on April 6, 1938, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Jim was raised in a nurturing environment by parents Paul “Pete” Franklin Schuman and Ruth Adeline Schuman (nee Ebaugh). He graduated from Eichelberger High School in June 1956, showing early signs of leadership and dedication to service. Following his high school graduation, Jim earned a degree from Albright College in 1960 and continued his theological studies at United Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, which he completed in 1963.

Jim retired in 2007 and returned to his beloved Hanover area, where he cherished his time at Cross Keys Village.
