Who we are
Meso 911 is published by HERE City, 7001 St Andrews Rd, #322, Columbia, SC 29212. HERE City publishes local news and information sites. We are not a law firm, a medical provider, a government agency, or a nonprofit lawyer referral service.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use. It is paid for by advertising from law firms that handle asbestos cases. Those firms may receive the inquiries people send through our forms. That is why the site is labeled attorney advertising. Advertisers do not write or approve our medical or legal information pages.
How we write
- Sources first. Medical pages are summarized from the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society. Legal and benefits pages cite statutes, courts, and agencies such as VA, the Department of Labor, OSHA, EPA, and GAO. Every page lists its sources.
- No invented numbers. We do not publish settlement amounts or averages, and we quote statistics only from the source named next to them.
- Calm and clear. We avoid scare tactics, false urgency, and promises. Legal deadlines are real, and we explain them plainly.
- Plain English. Medical and legal terms are explained the first time they appear and in our glossary.
- Reviewed and dated. Each page shows when it was last reviewed. Laws and treatments change, and we update pages when they do.
